Every number except for 0 has a reciprocal. For whole numbers the reciprocal is simply 1 divided by that number. This is because all whole numbers can be written as that number over 1. For example, any number X is equal to .
Let’s look at a few examples of the reciprocal of whole numbers.
Given the numbers A, B, C and D,
